CREDIBLE aims to revolutionize the way individuals engage with their information landscape, fostering resilience against manipulated information and ultimately empowering young people to actively participate in fact-based discourse and decision-making.

Core Objectives:

  • Transforming Information Interactions: CREDIBLE seeks to transform the way individuals interact with information by equipping them with the skills and knowledge to navigate the complex digital landscape and discern credible sources from misleading or false information.

  • Building Resilience Against Manipulation: The initiative aims to cultivate resilience against manipulated information by educating individuals about common disinformation tactics, enabling them to critically evaluate information and identify potential biases or agendas.

  • Empowering Youth for Fact-Based Engagement: CREDIBLE empowers young people to become informed and engaged citizens by fostering their ability to participate in fact-based discourse, challenge misinformation, and advocate for evidence-driven decision-making.

1. Empowering Youth Voices Bootcamp

This program equips young people with the skills and knowledge necessary to become effective advocates and leaders within their communities. The bootcamp fosters the development of critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills in young participants. It provides them with a platform to amplify their voices and actively engage in issues that impact them and their communities.

2. CREDIBLE Accelerator Bootcamp

Empowering Content Creators for Social Impact

The CREDIBLE Accelerator Bootcamp is an intensive training program designed to equip emerging content creators in Latin America with the skills, knowledge, and resources to produce high-quality, impactful journalistic content. Through a blend of hands-on workshops, mentorship, and networking opportunities, the program empowers participants to develop their storytelling abilities, navigate the digital media landscape, and contribute to a more informed and engaged citizenry.

  • Skill Development: Participants gain proficiency in essential journalistic skills, including research, writing, editing, multimedia production, and digital storytelling.
