Red Colaborar promotes the creation of a community with civil society organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean. This network is a living community that seeks to strengthen organizations through the sharing of knowledge and experiences, the identification of common challenges and objectives, and collaborative work for the sustainable development of the region.
The purpose of Red Colaborar is to transcend as civil society organizations with a legacy of peace, inclusion, and well-being for present and future generations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The project was carried out in agreement with the IAF (Inter-American Foundation).
How does Red Colaborar work?
Red Colaborar operates through a process that begins with an assessment to identify the needs, interests, and capabilities of the organizations that are part of the community. With this information, co-creation workshops are used to develop a shared structure that defines the network's identity, values, form of interaction, and regular meeting spaces. The digital platform becomes the central hub where organizations can access training resources, calls for proposals, courses, news, and a directory to connect with each other. In addition, the network promotes collaboration through community rituals such as virtual cafes, fairs, master classes, learning communities, and peer support spaces, which strengthen knowledge exchange, joint creation, and coordination among organizations throughout the country.
